Here are the Reggae Cds available

Corey Harris : Zion Crossroads

The culmination of this journey is Zion Crossroads, Harris' debut recording on Telarc. The album captures some of the most enduring elements of African-American music - blues, reggae, soul and so much more - and infuses them with a sense of history, social consciousness and spirituality. The revolutionary sounds of reggae make for a potent musical cocktail that arouses the body, mind, and spirit."

Jack Miller : Dreadlock Rock Soundtrack

Reggae music musician/producer/filmmaker, Jack Miller, bringing his historical music movie documentary film, Dreadlock Rock to the world. Dreadlock Rock is an incredible musical and spiritual journey told through the lives of the brilliantly talented Jamaican musicians who's "Reggae, Rasta Revolution" of one love, one heart would forever change the musical world.

Toots and the Maytals : Light Your Light

This release is another classic from one of Jamaica's best performers. The listener gets what one has come to expect from this master of Jamaican music. Although Toots has always played music which is unmistakenly West Indian, he has also never been afraid to incoporate other influences such as American soul, blues, and country.

Various Artists : Roots Man Dub

In the dance music world, the term "dub" is used to describe a remix where the mixing engineer takes the role of the artist. Less widely known is the fact that these engineering techniques were developed and perfected in Jamaica during the early '70s and throughout the decade. This two disc set is centered around the Roots Man Dub album, originally released in 1978 on GG's Records Hit label.

Michael Franti & SPearhead : All Rebel Rockers

The follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Yell Fire". "All Rebel Rockers" is Franti's fiery protest music and thought-provoking lyrics backed by seductive elements of dub, infectious dance music, and irresistible hook-infused soul. Franti has toured and performed with everyone from U2, Dave Matthews Band, Ziggy Marley, and REM to Digable Planets, Cypress Hill, The Fugees, and A Tribe Called Quest.

Rootz Underground Movement

This albums style--pure roots rock reggae--recalls the crisp sound of second wave roots bands like Steel Pulse and Black Uhuru. Yet Rootz Underground isn't merely a retro outfit; their updated take on classic Rasta grooves is vital and refreshing. Dense, percolating beds of rhythm, sweet guitar and keys, and touches of psychedelic production make MOVEMENT a deep and welcome listen.

Various Artists : Reggae Around the World

Putamayo, known for its "world music lite" compilations, has finally assembled a collection that's nearly as attractive to the ears as the colorful CD package is to the eyes. Roots reggae fans will be pleased to hear Nigeria's Majek Fashek, South Africa's Lucky Dube, and Martinique's Kreyol Syndicate and the top extra-Jamaican acts here upholding reggae's original mission to transform Babylon "shitstem."

Triston Palma : Two Roads

On Two Roads, Palma bolsters his 20-year career with a refreshing new set. The list of musicians playing on the album reads like a who's who of reggae's golden age. Palma is still at the top of his game and brings an honesty and quality that is becoming harder to find among the latest crop of reggae singers.

Various Artists : Essential Dub

Aptly titled, Essential Dub will be a collector's item from the moment it hits store shelves. Over 60 minutes of music, includes Niney, Bad Brains, Dub Trio, Laswell, Twilight Circus, and 10 Ft. Ganja Plant. 14 tracks from the far reaches of the Dub spectrum. Tracks are culled from currently available ROIR releases.

Lone Ranger : On the Other Side of Dub

On the Other Side of Dub is one of reggae's essential dee-jay albums, and Lone Ranger is one of the founding fathers of the dancehall dee-jay business. Ranger recorded big hits for Studio One and was one of the artists responsible for the label's renaissance in the early eighties. On the Other Side of Dub contains nine top deejay performances as well as eight Studio One dubs. Also included is the extended mix of "Keep on Coming a de Dance", one of the Ranger's signature toasts.
