Date: Sunday May 27, 2012
Tickets: CLICK HERE to save $5 from the day-of price for General Admission tickets to the KSBR Birthday Bash. This year, we’re adding a tasting of over 25 restaurants that will be showing off their finest creations. It’s the first annual Taste of the Bash! That is all taking place at the Bash itself and it means that your $45 General Admission ticket will get you into the concert and into the taste for no additional charge. Time: Doors open at 3:00 pm for everyone. There’s plenty of space for your picnic blankets!
The concert begins promptly at 5:00 pm - drizzle or shine (we will have a lot of musicians who want to play!)
OK to Bring: Low-back chairs, blankets, small coolers and picnic baskets, still cameras, non-alcoholic beverages in sealed containers, and your own food.
Do Not Bring: Large coolers, video cameras, pets, umbrellas, alcoholic beverages, unsealed beverage containers, and canopies. Regular and high-back chairs must be placed on the perimeter of the seating area (you may be asked to move if you are blocking someone’s view).
Food: This year, we’re adding "A Taste of the Bash," featuring over 25 restaurants that will be showing off their finest creations. That is all taking place at the Bash itself and it means that your General Admission ticket will get you into the concert and into the taste for no additional charge. Yes, you may continue to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages (in sealed containers). Plus, there will also be soft drinks, wine, and beer available for purchase.
CD Purchases: Help support jazz artists! CDs will be available for purchase (and the artists will be available to autograph them). CD purchases will be cash only (so bring plenty).
No Smoking: The Center is a non-smoking facility.
Attire: Casual (It is Southern California). Remember, it does get cool when the sun goes down (although you will be able to purchase Birthday Bash Sweat Shirts).
Please Note: For safety and security, all patrons are subject to search, and all items may be inspected upon entry into the Village Green/Norman P. Murray Center.
